Training

TCIRD is the advance research Centre in the area of pulp & paper and environment. Research scholars registered in different institutes and universities are permitted to work for Ph.D.,
Presently six persons are working for Ph.D. having registered in IIT-Roorkee, Thapar University at Patiala and Forest Research Institute at Dehradun.

Two M. Tech students of IIT-Roorkee are carrying out their M. Tech dissertation work in the area of pulp and paper technology.
 
TCIRD also provides short term training to the under graduate and post graduate students.
It is going to start specialized training to the people working in industries.
